Ganymede Update Site
Using the Eclipse update manager is the recommended way to install the COM Plug-in for Eclipse. The update manager can be configured to automatically notify and download updates as soon as they arrive relieving you of the burden to check for new updates manually.
The instructions below are for installing the COM Plugin on Eclipse 3.4 (Ganymede). For instructions on installing using Eclipse 3.3 (Europa) click here
- Select "Help » Software Updates..." menu option
- The "Software Updates and Add-ons" dialog appears. Select the "Available Software" tab.
- Click the "Add Site" button and in the Add Site dialog enter the update url;
URL: http://www.comeclipse.com/updates/v1
- Eclipse will now add the COM Plugin site to the list of Available Software. Expand the
site and select the features you would like and click the Install... button.
- Eclipse begins the update process by resolving dependancies and then prompts you again for the features you
would like to install.
- Make sure that the checkbox next to the "COM Plug-in for Eclipse" is selected.
The other features listed here are optional and can be added later by following this process again
so don't feel compelled to install everything at once.
